What is Electrostatic Disinfecting and How Does it Work?
Electrostatic disinfecting is a way of quickly and evenly coating a surface with a disinfecting solution. Electrostatic sprayers work by charging the liquid disinfectant as it passes through the sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel one another, which makes them land evenly on the targeted surface. The electromagnetic charge causes them to actively seek out surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around, coating all sides and providing 360-degree coverage.
We cannot guarantee that no one in your facility will get sick, but this protocol is considered the Gold Standard for combatting COVID 19. The Ecolab Peroxide Disinfectant we use kills the virus in 45 seconds, as recognized by the EPA. The mist that our sprayer produces is so fine it is safe for all surfaces.
