Wood Floor Restoration

Like all flooring systems, your hardwood floors will wear with time.  Depending on the foot traffic, your floors will have to be re-sanded every 5 to 10 years.

Everyone who has been through a floor sanding knows what a hassle that can be.  You have to shut down those rooms for days, and dust finds its way into every crack and crevice.

Our Wood Floor Restoration Service allows you to avoid all that.

Your wood floors will begin to show signs of wear after 2 to 3 years, depending on traffic.  The telltale signs are a dull appearance and the prevalence of surface scratches.  This is the optimum time to perform our Wood Floor Restoration Service.

We afraid your floor with our surface preparation pads, and then apply one coat of water-based floor finish. The service is virtually dustless, and your floor is ready for foot traffic in 2 to 3 hours.

If you have this service performed on a regular basis, you will never have to have your floors sanded again.

Water-based finish has been around for a long time, but until recently has not been as durable as polyurethane.   That has changed.  Manufacturers have improved water-based finish to the point where it is now more durable than polyurethane.  VOC levels are below 100.  It dries in a few hours and cures in one week.  It is, quite simply, a superior product.
